THE PLACE
Salt with an address.
Kona Sea Salt operates on Hawaiʻi Island’s Kona coast within HOST Park. Its official pages describe a working salt farm with a store, tastings and guided visits. [2]
THE METHOD
How the salt is made.
The producer draws deep-ocean water through a pipeline, filters it and uses enclosed solar evaporation. Salt is scooped by hand and placed in covered hoppers to drain and dry. [1]
Process described by the operator; method categories are editorial groupings. Not independently inspected.
